Why did we think we were going to pay to see the Ranier's when they don't even want to watch their Uncle play?

Soon to be JUST a memory. Sprinker is closing down in October, and I think I was the last to know!

Out to the Sprinker balls fields to watch Jeremy and Lexie play! We arrived half way through the first game, and they were nailing the other team. In the second game, they weren't as lucky. The catcher got slammed in the face with a ball! The nurse promptly stayed in her chair the whole time. Maybe because I was thinking I might have to hold my dad down after he got all riled up about the catcher not wearing a mask, and thinking it was the ump's fault. We had fun, and I think the kids enjoyed playing around on the grass fields next to us, and eating at the snack bar with gramps and grams!

Monday, when we got back from our anniversary trip, found a note on the counter that read: Suzanne called. Play group. Tuesday at 830am. Who would schedule a playgroup so early? Doesn't anyone sleep in? Let the kids find their own breakfast, and stay under the covers till they beg for lunch? Well, you know heat here in the summers, ranging around the 100's, makes us southerners wake up early in the a.m. to do the things we enjoy. When noon rolls around, we hull up in our homes, doors tightly shut, curtains drawn, trying to escape the BIG BAD (the sun appropriately named, right Spike?)! I guess that was not in the cards for us today! We spent the early morning hours playing at the park with pretty much everyone from Journey! Unfortunately around 10 a.m. the heat found us and forced us to retreat to Suzanne's house for some relief! My latest obsessions….puzzling The week after Coyote made a surprise visit! It’s been awhile since I posted! I was just looking back on some posts and giggled so I think it is important to continue since posts tell the story of my life. These pictures were from our latest venture to Paso Robles to see Coyote! Mark, I, and Charlie drove to Paso Robles California in approximately 18 hours. We stayed three glorious days and drove home within the sametime frame. While we were there, we got to see Hearst Castle, visited San Luis Obispo, saw the ocean and tons of beached Sea creatures, ate amazing food, drank amazing coffee, visited a couple of thrift stores, art galleries, and was surprised to find a outdoor vending machine full of specialty meats and cheeses. We purchased a cheese that was literally black all the way through. It was so good and tasty. It had a wonderful lemon taste to it and was very mild. Our Airbnb was located on a Vineyard.
