DayShifting

My first day of dayshift. I survived and thrived. I loved it. I woke up at 5am and got to work around 630a. It
was my turn to do a c/s, and then after I transferred my patient down to mother/baby and completed my last 9 hours there. Love mother/baby because I get to help with breast feeding, educating, and assisting these new moms. During my LUNCH BREAK-which we don't really do at night away from the unit- I took my lunch and ate outside in the sun. It was wonderful, and I felt very blessed to be enjoying my day so much. Now I need to close my eyes, sleep, and do all this again tomorrow.

Mark had dinner ready, the house clean, kids in jammas, and flowers for me...I love that man so much! He is so in tune with my needs!
