National November Writing Month
NaNoWrMo is in full swing and I think I did commit to writing a blog a day for the month to someone. Here goes something anyways. Commitment isn’t easy, or pretty at times but it sure does make one feel accomplished after the commitment is completed. I’ve committed to walking. I’ve written it up on my dry erase board and have completed the task nearly every day. When I don’t complete the task I have a real conversation about why I didn’t. Either with myself or with my hubs. We problem solve choose another day for the make up and off we go again. We’ve been committed for nearly two weeks now. I am slowly making changes. In a month and a half I have gotten my blood pressure under control, had my labs drawn, signed up for the health and wellness program, got my cpap and have had success using it, and seeing a nutritionist. Big steps! For my mental health I’ve been reading more (finished a book and am about 30 pages into the next one), singing more (in the car by myself), and collecting quotes as I go.

Mark and I are struggling to keep up with the constant demands of three changing children but we’ve scheduled time for ourselves as well and that it going perfectly. We’ve learned a lot about each other lately, well I have felt like we’ve been opening up more. I am beyond blessed to be married to such an awesome guy!
Today we enjoyed a movie date together and went to Bohemian Rhapsody. It was all about Freddie Mercury’s life in the 70’s-80’s. He was a big part of my husbands’ childhood/teenage years and I’m greatful to have been introduced to this icon by my husband. What a life he lived! Amazing talent resided and dwelt in that man. It’s time for my cpap so I must say goodnight! 😴 Tomorrow is the Halloween Party!
