Camping Alone

Valerie's first week as a counselor is completed and she is off running herself this week at Family Camp. She is already growing and changing but is also incredibly homesick. She says we are at home having fun without her. To be honest, we've hardly been home this rotation off. I took the kids camping for the first two days (mainly to see if I could do it by myself) and then we went to see Queen on Saturday night, Sunday she was home for part of it and then we ran errands to Goodwill, haircuts, and the bank. Monday I took the car to Honda for repairs, went to Costco, then went back to Honda for Mark's oil change, over to Winco, and then finally home. Tuesday I already blogged about so that's how I spent Tuesday, which leads us to today!!!! Today I have a piano lessons at 630p and probably should pay bills, make salads, and plan dinner. Actually little missy needs shorts so might take a trip to Walmart too. VALERIE you're not missing anything!

We stopped by to see her on her hour off at Camp on Thursday and Friday! What a sweet treat. Charlie drew me this picture ⬆️ on my notes app where I wrote my camping shopping list. She is so amazing!

Camping day #1! The tent is up and we are off swimming and making fire! Charlie made three fires for us that day!! Ethan keeps showing me that he really truly adores his baby sister. He swam her all around the pool several times. Oh sure their was lots of cries and wines from Char but that's because he would torture her in the deep section! Girl needs to learn to swim!!!

Mark and Caitlyn came and visited us. We swam a good portion of the day and then ate tacos and smores by the fire. It was perfectly perfect till the mosquitos started swarming us! Forgot my towel on Saturday so I used my Lularoe Dress for a towel. Super cute, I think.

Hanging out in Valerie's room because we miss her!
