Happy Deuces
June 18th 2017-
Awesome day!! We spent Father's Day celebrating with the Grandpa and Grandma Wegley and Jill and Michael. It was so good to see them, even if it was only for a few hours. Dinner was yummy, and the wine was delicious.
Sunday we finished getting Val ready for Counselor Training week at Camp Gilead. Charlie hung out with Grandpa and Grandma all day instead of driving all day with us. We even celebrated Father's Day in the car with Mark. The kids got him Cthulu Shoes and socks! He loved them. We even videoed him opening his present because Charlie had to miss it. Before we took Valerie to Camp for her summer job we headed to Redmond to drop Ethan off to see his girlfriend. They went to youth group and church together while we took Valerie to Camp Gilead for counselor training week. It was a long week without her but we all survived. She learned so much during this week and showed such a kind loving heart, this mamma couldn't be prouder. While Ethan hung out with Caitlyn we were able to carve out a few moments to enjoy our 23rd Anniversary. We ate at a wonderful sushi bar called Raw Bar 89 in Kirkland. We ate during their happy hour so we split three rolls, had some wine, and a bowl of edamame for super cheap. We talked about our plans for next years anniversary and there was some talk of taking the kids to California next year and possibly traveling abroad when it is safer to do so.
