It was back to work for me this week. Unfortunately I was unable to spend too much time with Valerie because I had to work. Ethan had a soccer barbecue with his RSA elite team, and then the Mira's invited us over for their family and friends summer bash. They recently moved very close to us on Waller Road. Their house is super cute with lots of land, and a tree farm in the back lot. We all went, and the boys played basketball, Charlie  played with Jael on the swings, in the water, and on the slip and slide, while I got to relax and catch up on Valerie's recently completed camp week. I love hearing about her adventures. Her week was a bit different because she had family camp. Her duties were to help with childcare, kitchen duty, clean bathrooms, and helping out at the skate park. It wasn't her favorite week but she is still having fun. One of the campers this week was a Corporate Employee at Starbucks so they took the staff out for Latte's! They were also involved in the Carnation Parade through the town on the 4th of July.

Charlie had piano lessons this week at her teacher's house. She lives in a beautiful home over in North Shore. Charlie was thrilled to play her baby grand piano over the old clunky one at Ted Brown's.

Ethan's soccer is going good. He still has practices every week, and a soccer tournament that is coming up July 21-23rd. He looks like a man out there, not just a boy!
